What’s new in StartMail?
Behold! New Features ahead! With everything going on in the world today, your email shouldn’t be one of your worries. You asked, and we listened. We have updated our product in a way that works best for you! Here you can find an overview of the new features and bug fixes for the month of October.
New sign-up flow
We have made changes to the sign-up flow for our new StartMail users. We now ask them for payment details during the account sign-up process which helps us control email abuse. In addition to this, the trial period has now been changed from 30 days to 7 days. Payments will be processed only after the trial period ends, which means you can cancel your subscription any time before the end of the trial period. More information on why your payment details are required for a trial account can be found in our Support Center article.
Save Draft Button
We recently added a save draft notification in the middle of the interface to inform you that your draft was being saved. After receiving feedback, we realized that this was interfering with your ability to compose an email. We’ve now removed the notification and added a timestamp in the top right corner to let you know when the draft was last saved.
Replying to a message
When replying to certain messages, the interface would occasionally add additional lines to the quoted message. We’ve fixed this now, allowing you to write your emails with ease.
What is next?
With Black Friday ahead, we are working on some interesting deals to help you purchase and set up a StartMail Account! For current StartMail users, keep in mind that with the referral program, you and your friend can earn a 50% discount for an account renewal or upgrade.
